Eight IAS officers transferred in Uttar Pradesh

The Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday (October 8, 2025) issued transfer and posting orders for eight IAS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Selva Kumari J (IAS:2006:UP), Secretary Planning and DG, Directorate of Economics and Statistics, has been transferred and posted as DG and Secretary, Technical Education Department.
2. Sameer Verma (IAS:2002:UP), waiting posting order, has been posted as Secretary planning and DG, Directorate of Economics and Statistics.
3. Prabhu Narayan Singh (IAS:2007:UP), waiting posting order, has been posted Managing Director of the UP State Road Transport Corporation.
4. Masoom Ali Sarwar (IAS:2009:UP), Managing Director of the UP State Road Transport Corporation, has been appointed CEO, UP Sunni Central Waqf Board.
5. Ashish Kumar (IAS:2015:UP), Special Secretary, Stamp and Registration and Additional IG, Registration, has been transferred as MD, UP State Tourism Development Corporation.
6. Sudhir Kumar (IAS:2018:UP), Commissioner of Kanpur Nagar Nigam, has been posted as Special Secretary, Stamp and Registration and Additional IG, Registration.
7. Arpit Upadhyay (IAS:2018:UP), CDO of Rae Bareli, has been posted as Commissioner of Kanpur Nagar Nigam
8. Anju Lata (IAS), Secretary, Moradabad Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as new CDO of Rae Bareli.
