Tamil Nadu government transfers three IAS officers

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government Tuesday (October 6, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for three IAS officers, including changes in the leadership of the Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT), Town Panchayats and e-Governance.

Dr KP Karthikeyan (IAS:2014:TN), Managing Director, Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCOT), has been transferred and posted as Director, Town Panchayats.

B Priyanka (IAS:2015:TN), Director, Town Panchayats, has been transferred and posted as Director, e-Governance. She will also hold additional charge as Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency.

B Vishnu Chandran (IAS:2015:TN), on return from foreign deputation, has been posted as Managing Director, Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited (ELCO)
