Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Wednesday (October 7, 2026) issued transfer and posting orders for seven IAS officers across the state, including the appointment of Ms Madhumita as Collector and District Magistrate (DM), Nuapada, and Ms Anya Das as Collector and DM, Nabarangpur.
Ms Madhumita (IAS:2020), who had joined the General Administration and Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department after availing maternity leave, has been posted as Collector & DM, Nuapada. Ms Anya Das (IAS:2019), who was serving as Deputy Secretary to Government in the Health & Family Welfare Department, has been transferred and posted as Collector & DM, Nabarangpur.
Dr Maheswar Swain (IAS-SCS:2014), Collector & DM, Nabarangpur, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister.
Pradeep Kumar Nayak (IAS-SCS:2014), Additional Commissioner, Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar, has been appointed Additional Secretary, Fisheries & Animal Resources Development (F&ARD) Department.
Madhusudan Dash (IAS-SCS:2014), Collector & DM, Nuapada, has been transferred and posted as Additional Secretary, General Administration & Public Grievance (GA & PG) Department.
Ashni A L (IAS:2023), Under Secretary, Health & Family Welfare Department, has been posted as Sub-Collector, Bhabanipatna.
Kasturi Sha (IAS:2024), Sub-Collector, Bhabanipatna, has been transferred and posted as Under Secretary, GA & PG Department.
