Indian Economic Service officer Harish Kumar Kallega (IES:2013), who was recommended for central deputation by the Department of Economic Affairs, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Higher Education, Delhi, for four years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (September 29, 2025), Mr Kallega will serve to the post under central staffing scheme for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
