Additional Secretary Vivek Aggarwal will continue as Director of FIU-India

Vivek Aggarwal (IAS:1994:MP), currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Revenue, will continue to shoulder the additional responsibilities as the Director of Finance Intelligence Unit-India. As per an order released by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (24.01.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has given its approval to the Department of Revenue’s proposal for an extension of the entrustment of the additional charge to Aggarwal. This extension spans from December 27, 2023, to March 29, 2024, or until further orders, whichever comes earlier.
