HP: Eight IAS officers shifted, Abhishek Jain posted as Secretary, Home & Vigilance

The Himachal Pradesh government on Monday transferred eight Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, including the Education Secretary, Abhishek Jain.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:

1. Abhishek Jain (IAS:2002:HP), Secretary, Education and Information Technology with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Technical Education, and Home & Vigilance, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Home & Vigilance and Information Technology. He shall hold the charge of the posts of Secretary, Finance, Planning, Economics, and Statistics and 20 Point Programme and Labour and Employment. He will continue to hold additional charge of Secretary to the Chief Minister.
2. C Paulrasu (IAS:2004:HP), Secretary, Administrative Reforms, Training & FA and RPG with additional charge of posts of Secretary, Cooperation & Horticulture, shall also hold the charge of the post of Secretary, Agriculture.
3. Priyatu Mandal (IAS:2006:HP), Secretary, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj with additional charge of the post of Managing Director, HP Financial Corporation, shall hold the charge of the posts of Secretary, Technical Education and Fisheries, and Chairman of the Himachal Pradesh Appellate Tax Tribunal, Dharamshala.
4. Rakesh Kanwar (IAS:2007:HP), Secretary, Agriculture and Language, Art & Culture with additional charge of the posts of Secretary, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Education, Animal Husbandry and Language Art & Culture.
5. Chander Prakash Verma (IAS:2010:HP), Special Secretary, Revenue with additional charge of the posts of Commissioner, Departmental Enquires and Special Secretary, Forest & Industries, has been transferred and posted as Director, Land Records.
6. Sandeep Kumar (IAS:2010:HP), Special Secretary, Technical Education, shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Commissioner, Departmental Enquiries.
7. Lalit Jain (IAS:2011:HP), CEO, Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority, Baddi, District Solan, has been transferred and posted as MD, HP Minorities Finance and Development Corporation. He shall also hold the additional charge of CEO, Baddi Barotiwala Nalagarh Development Authority, Baddi, District Solan.
8. Manesh Kumar (IAS:2018:HP), awaiting posting, has been posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (Dev.)-cum-Project Director, (DRDA), Hamirpur, Hamirpur District.
