The Himachal government on Friday (23.06.2023) appointed senior IPS officer Satwant Atwal Trivedi (IPS:1996:HP) as officiating DGP of the state. She will take decisions on all administrative and urgent matters in the absence of DGP Sanjay Kundu (IPS:1989:HP), who has proceeded on a one-month leave.
Trivedi is presently holding the post of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau.
