Centre empanels 53 officers for Joint Secretary-level posts in Government of India

New Delhi: The Centre on Monday (November 2, 2026) empanelled 53 officers from various services and batches for holding Joint Secretary or equivalent-level posts in the Government of India.

The empanelment includes officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Customs and Indirect Taxes), Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax), various Railway services, Indian Audit and Accounts Service, Indian Civil Accounts Service, Indian Statistical Service, Indian Economic Service, Indian Telecommunications Service and Indian Trade Service.
