Tripura: Nine IPS officers shifted, L Darlong posted as IGP, Law & Order

The Tripura government on Thursday (01.09.2022) issued transfer and posting orders for nine Indian Police Service (IPS) officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. M Raja Murugan (IPS:1996:TR) has been posted as ADGP, Training. He was waiting for the posting order after repatriation to the cadre.
2. G S Rao (IPS:1999:TR), IGP, Training, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Crime & Intelligence.
3. L Darlong (IPS:2004:TR), IGP, Crime & Intelligence, is transferred and posted as IGP, Law & Order.
4. Arindam Nath (IPS:2003:TR), IGP, Law & Order, is transferred and posted as IGP, Administration.
5. Sankar Debnath (IPS:2011:TR), SP, SB with additional charge of SP, Vigilance, has been transferred and posted as SP(West), Tripura.
6. Krishnendu Chakraborty (IPS:2010:TR), AIGP, Crime, Tripura is transferred and posted as SP, SB with additional charge of SP, Vigilance, Tripura.
7. Rati Ranjan Debnath (IPS), SP, Sepahijala, Tripura is transferred and posted as SP, Khowai, TriPura.
8. Bogati J Reddy (IPS:2017:TR), SP, west Tripura is transferred and posted as SP, Sepahijala, Tripura.
9. Ms Kanta Jangir (IPS:2018:TR), Addl. SP, Gomati, Tripura is transferred and posted as SP, Unakoti, Tripura.
