The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of seven Judicial Officers as Judges of the Patna High Court. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on May 04, 2022.

The Patna High Court is currently functioning with a little over 50 percent of its sanctioned strength of 53 judges. It has a working strength of 27 with 26 vacancies.
