Centre notified appointment of 6 Additional Judges of Bombay High Court as Permanent Judges

The Union government on Saturday (June 6, 2026) notified the appointment of six Additional Judges of the Bombay High Court as Permanent Judges of the High Court.

The appointments were approved following the recommendation made by the Supreme Court Collegium on May 18, 2026 for elevating the Additional Judges.

The judges appointed as Permanent Judges are:

1. Justice Nivedita Prakash Mehta
2. Justice Prafulla Surendrakumar Khubalkar
3. Justice Ashwin Damodar Bhobe
4. Justice Rohit Wasudeo Joshi
5. Justice Advait Mahendra Sethna
6. Justice Pravin Sheshrao Patil
