Centre notifies 3 Judges, 4 Additional Judges for Patna High Court

The Union government on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) notified the appointment of seven Advocates to the Patna High Court, including three as Judges and four as Additional Judges.

The following Advocates have been appointed as Judges of the Patna High Court:

1. Ranjan Kumar Jha
2. Kumar Manish
3. Raj Kumar

Further, the following Advocates have been appointed as Additional Judges of the Patna High Court for a period of two years from the date of assumption of charge:

1. Rana Vikram Singh
2. Vikash Kumar
3. Girijish Kumar
4. Alok Kumar

Notably, the Supreme Court Collegium in its meeting held on February 26, 2026 had recommended elevation of Advocates as Judges of the Patna High Court.
