Three HC Chief Justices recommended for elevation as Supreme Court Judges

New Delhi: The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the elevation of three High Court Chief Justices as judges of the Supreme Court.

The recommendations were made at the Collegium meeting held on September 28, 2026.

The three Chief Justices recommended for elevation are:

1. Justice Sunita Agarwal, Chief Justice, High Court of Gujarat
2. Justice Devendra Kumar Upadhyaya, Chief Justice, High Court of Delh
3. Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Justice, High Court for the State of Telangana
