The Modi government on Saturday (09.10.2021) appointed M Ravichandran as Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences. Presently, he is serving as Director, National Centre for Ocean and Polar Research, Ministry of Earth Sciences, Goa and has been in charge of coordinating several of India’s scientific missions to Antarctica and the Arctic.
