The Karnataka government on Friday (26.07.2024) appointed senior IAS officer Dr. Shalini Rajneesh (IAS:1989:KN) as the new Chief Secretary of the state. She will succeed her husband, Rajneesh Goel (IAS:1986:KN), the current Chief Secretary, who is scheduled to retire on July 31.
Presently, she is serving as Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Development Commissioner.
