K Timothy Zimik (IRS-IT:1985) has been promoted to the grade of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of Mr. Zimik for promotion to the grade of the Chief Commissioner of Income Tax in Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) for the panel year 2018.

Dr. Tata Narasinga Rao has been appointed as Director of the International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy & New Materials (ARCI), Hyderabad. The central deputation tenure of Anant Swarup (IRPS:1992) as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce has been extended for a period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (15.11.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Swarup for a period of two years beyond 28.11.2022 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Raghubir Lal gets extension as Joint Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat
