According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on January 12, 2023, the central government has approved the appointment of Mr. Gundal to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Akash Taneja gets extension as Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone
Akash Taneja (ITS:1990), Additional Director General of Foreign Trade of Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), New Delhi, who is currently holding the additional charge of Development Commissioner, Kandla Special Economic Zone (KASEZ), has been given a tenure extension on the post. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on January 11, 2023, Taneja will continue to hold additional charge of the KASEZ Development Commissioner post for a period of six months beyond 24.11.2022 or till the post is filled on regular basis or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Debasis Acharyya appointed as Director (Personnel), South Eastern Coalfields Ltd.
Debasis Acharyya, Chief Manager, Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (ECL), has been appointed to the post of Director (Personnel), South Eastern Coalfields Ltd. (SECL). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on January 10, 2023, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Coal to appoint Mr. Acharyya to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. upto 31.01.2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

M Vellaipandi has been appointed to the post of Director General (DG) of the Standardization Testing and Quality Certification Directorate (STQC), Chennai.
