Delhi : 10 IAS officers shifted

The Delhi government on Monday (16.01.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for 10 IAS officers.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

  1. Praveen Kumar Gupta (IAS:1989:AGMUT), Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), GAD, Designated as Nodal officer for implementation/compliance of directions/ orders of Parliamentary Standing Committees/ Legislative Assembly of Delhi and Standing Committees of Legislative Assembly of Delhi and SC/ST Commissioner/NHRC and other Commission/Authorities, has been given additional charge of ACS, AR from 01.02.2023 after superannuation of Raajiv Yaduvanshi (IAS:1989:AGMUT).
  2. Azimul Haque (IAS:2007:AGMUT), Special Secretary, Power with additional charge of MD, IPGCL/PPCL, has been transferred and posted as Member (Administration), DJB, on deputation.
  3. Ravi Dhawan (IAS:2011:AGMUT) has been post as Special Secretary, Power with additional charge of MD, IPGCL/PPCL and Chairman, Technical Evaluation Committee in Law Department for a period of one month or till the Committee continues to function, whichever is later and Special Secretary, Planning and Nodal Officer of Special Monitoring Cell in the Planning Department, reporting directly to Chief Secretary w.r.t following mattars; G-20, Annual Plan 2023, CAQM and NGT
  4. Danish Ashraf (IAS:2011:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, MCD, has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Health.
  5. Vikram Singh Malik (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Secretary, NDMC and CEO, NDMC Smart City Ltd has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Home.
  6. Ms. Harleen Kaur (IAS:2012:AGMUT), Additional Commissioner, MCD has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary to Lt. Governor.
  7. Ruchika Katyal (IAS:2013:AGMUT) has been posted as Member (Finance), DJB on deputation.
  8. Dr. Ankita Chakravarty (IAS:2013:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, MCD has been transferred and posted as Secretary, NDMC with additional charge of
    CEO, NDMC Smart City Ltd.
  9. Shashanka Ala (IAS:2014:AGMUT), Deputy Commissioner, MCD has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, PWD.
  10. Sonalika Jiwani (IAS:2017:AGMUT), Special Secretary, UD with additional charge of Special Secretary, NCR has been given additional charge of Special Secretary, Tourism.

Three IPS officers of DG rank at Centre get Apex Scale

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet on Saturday (14.01.2023) granted Apex Scale (Level-17) to three IPS officers.

They are;

  1. A Sema Rajan (IPS:1987:BH), Director, National Police Academy (SVPNPA). He is retiring next month (28.02.23)
  2. Atul Karwal (IPS:1988:GJ), Director General, NDRF retiring in March 2024.
  3. Manoj Yadav (IPS:1988:HY), Director General (Investigation) National Human Rights Commission having tenure in service upto 31.07.25.

Lalit Mohan Pandey gets extension as CVO, National Fertilizers Ltd

The deputation tenure of Lalit Mohan Pandey (IRSME:1995) as CVO, National Fertilizers Ltd. (NFL) has been extended for period of two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (13.01.2023), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Pandey for a period of two years beyond 23.02.2023 i.e. upto 23.02.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Preeti Mahto continues as CVO, Paradip Port Authority

Preeti Mahto (IP&TA&FS:2000), CVO of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Port Authority (SPMPA), Kolkata, who holds the additional charge of CVO, Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Paradip has been given tenure extension. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (10.01.2023), she will hold the additional charge of CVO, PPA for a period of two years beyond 01.09.2022 (i.e. upto 01.09.2024, conterminous with her deputation tenure as CVO, SPMPA) or till the appointment of a regular CVO or until further orders, whichever is earliest.

Jivan Kautikrao Bachhav (IRS-IT:2011), who was recommended for central deputation by the D/o Revenue, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Culture, Delhi for a period of four years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on January 12, 2023, the central government has approved the appointment of Mr. Bachhav to the post under the central staffing scheme for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
