Chhattisgarh: 4 IPS officers shifted, Prakhar Pandey posted as DIG, ACB
The Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday (08.02.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for four IPS officers across the state.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- Parul Mathur (IPS:2008:CG), DIG, ACB, Hqrs, Raipur has been transferred and posted as DIG, Chhattisgarh Armed Force, Sarguja Range, Sarguja.
- Prakhar Pandey (IPS:2009:CG), SP, CM Security, Raipur has been transferred and posted as DIG, ACB Hqrs, Raipur.
- Rajesh Kukreja (IPS:2012:CG), SP, Sarangarh-Bilaigarh, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, 1st Battalion, Chhattisgarh Armed Force,, Bhilai.
- Ashutosh Singh (IPS:2012:CG), Commandant, 13th Battalion, Chhattisgarh Armed Force, Korba has been transferred and posted as SP of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh
DPIIT Additional Secretary Anil Kumar Agarwal returns to parent cadre
Anil Kumar Agarwal (IPS:1988:UP), Additional Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade (DPIIT), has been repatriated to his parent cadre. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (08.02.2023), the competent authority has approved the premature repatriation of Mr. Agarwal to his parent cadre to avail the benefit of promotion in the cadre.
Vinay Kumar appointed as DCO/DCR, Mizoram
Vinay Kumar (IAS:2011:AGMUT) has been appointed to the post of Director of Census Operations (DCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (DCR), Mizoram on additional charge basis. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (08.02.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Kumar to the post under the central staffing scheme w.e.f the date of taking over charge of the post and for a period upto 31.12.2025 or until further orders.
Kaushick Saha appointed as DCO/DCR, West Bengal

Shamika Ravi appointed as Member in EAC-PM
Economics professor and researcher Shamika Ravi has been appointed as a member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM). She is currently a non-resident senior fellow in the governance studies program at the Brookings Institution in Washington D.C.
EAC-PM, chaired by economist Bibek Debroy, currently has one member and six part-time members. The composition of EAC-PM is: Dr Bibek Debroy (Chairman), Sanjeev Sanyal (Member), Rakesh Mohan (Part-Time Member), Dr Sajjid Chinoy (Part-Time Member), Dr Neelkanth Mishra (Part-Time Member), Nilesh Shah (Part-Time Member), Prof T T Ram Mohan (Part-Time Member) and Dr Poonam Gupta (Part-Time Member).
The Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister (EAC-PM) is an independent body established to advise the Prime Minister on economic and related issues.
Dr. Hifzur Rehman appointed next Ambassador of Chad
Dr. Hifzur Rehman has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to the Republic of Chad. Presently, he is serving as Director in the Ministry of External Affairs and is expected to take up the assignment shortly.
Suresh Chandra Pandey selected as Director (Personnel), RINL
Suresh Chandra Pandey has been selected for the post of Director (Personnel), Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on February 07, 2023. Presently, he is working as Chief General Manager, Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL).
He will be appointed to the post of Director (Personnel) after receiving vigilance clearances and an approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.

Kuldeep Arya appointed as Director, D/o Rural Development
Kuldeep Arya (IAS:2009:GJ) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Rural Development for a period of five years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (07.02.2023), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Arya to the post for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Canara Bank appoints K. Satyanarayana Raju as MD and CEO
Canara Bank on Tuesday announced the appointment of K Satyanarayana Raju as its Managing Director and CEO, with immediate effect. The appointment is valid up to the date of his attaining the age of superannuation (i.e., 31.12.2025), or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He will be replacing L V Prabhakar who demitted office on December 31, 2022.
Raju had served Canara Bank as Executive Director since March 10, 2021.
