The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of R. Madhavan to the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for a period of five years.

Girija Shankar Chaturvedi, Group General Manager, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) has been appointed to the post of Director (Exploration), ONGC Videsh Limited (OVL) for a period of five years.

Dr. Saumitra Das has been appointed as Director, National Institute of Biomedical Genomics (NIBMG), Kalyani, West Bengal for a period upto 31.01.2022. Dr. Das is presently working as Professor, Department of Microbiology and Cell Boilogy, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore.

Chandrabhan Singh Thakur has been appointed as First Secretary (Technical) at Embassy of India, Moscow for a period of 3 years. He is presently posted as Joint General Manager, Ordinance Factory Board, Opto Electronic Factory, Dehradun.

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Prem Sagar Mishra, Director (Production & Planning), Orissa Minerals Development Corporation (OMDC) Limited to the post of Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) for a period of five years.

Prof. Sarit Kumar Chaudhary has been re-appointed to the post of Director, IGRMS, Bhopal for a period upto 26.11.2019 on deputation basis.

The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet has approved the empanelment of 18 officers of 2001 batch, for promotion to Grade-III of Indian Forest Service (IFS).

Deepak Kumar (IPS:1993:JK) has been given additional charge of the post of CVO, Bridge and Roof Company (India) Limited (BRCIL), Kolkata for a period from 28.02.2018 to 31.03.2019 or till the appointment of regular CVO. He is presently posted as CVO, Heavy Engineering Corporation Limited (HEC), Ranchi.
