Bhupinder Singh Bhalla (IAS:1990:AGMUT) was on Friday (27.05.2022) appointed as the new Chairperson of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). He succeeds Dharmendra (IAS:1989:AGMUT), who has been relieved of his duty with immediate effect, said a notification issued by the Union ministry of home affairs. Prior to this assignment, Bhalla was serving as Additional Chief Secretary (Home) of Delhi.
