New Delhi: IAS officer Namrata Gandhi (IAS:2013:CG) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Ayush on a lateral shift basis from the Cabinet Secretariat, where she was serving in the same capacity.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (November 6, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the recommendation of the Civil Services Board (CSB) for her appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Gandhi‘s tenure in the Ministry of Ayush will continue until March 3, 2029, covering the balance period of her four-year central deputation tenure.
She joined central deputation on March 3, 2025, when she was appointed Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat for a period of four years.
