Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer Sujeet Pandey (IPS:1994:UP) has assumed charge as Director of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) at Shivarampally, Hyderabad.
After taking charge, Pandey interacted with the faculty members of the Academy and paid homage to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
He succeeds Amit Garg (IPS:1993:AP), who has been appointed as Director of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
Notably, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) approved Sujeet Pandey’s appointment as Director of SVPNPA on July 6, 2026. The Uttar Pradesh government relieved him on July 10, 2026, enabling him to take up his new assignment at the National Police Academy.
