MHA promotes 2 IPS officers as Joint Directors in SVP National Police Academy

The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has approved the appointment-cum-promotion of two IPS officers as Joint Directors in Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVP NPA), Hyderabad.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Friday (June 13, 2026), the competent authority approved appointment and promotion of the following officers from the date of joining their respective posts:

1. Dr Rohini Katoch Sepat (IPS:2008:KN), presently serving as Deputy Director in SVP National Police Academy, has been promoted and appointed as Joint Director in SVP NPA.
2. Dr Ram Niwas Sepat (IPS:2008:KN), presently serving as Deputy Director in SVP National Police Academy, has been promoted and appointed as Joint Director in SVP NPA.
