Raghvendra Singh (IA&AS:2013), who was recommended for central deputation by the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, has been selected for appointment as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (November 11, 2025), Mr. Singh will serve in the post for a tenure up to March 14, 2028 i.e., for the combined period of four years on Central Staffing Scheme (CSS) and Non-CSS deputation from the date he assumes charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
