UK: Five IPS officers assigned new responsibilities

The Uttarakhand government on Tuesday (04.03.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for five IPS officers, including the promotion of two officers to higher ranks.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Mukesh Kumar (IPS-SPS:2011), Assistant IG, P & M/ SP, SCRB/SSTNS, has been transferred and posted as DIG, PAC.
2. Dhirendra Singh Gunjyal (IPS-SPS:2011), Assistant IG, Prisons, has been transferred and posted as DIG, Law & Order.
3. Rachita Juyal (IPS:2015:UK) has been posted as SP, Vigilance.
4. Jitendra Mehra (IPS:2021:UK), Additional SP, Crime/Traffic, Haridwar, has been promoted and posted as SP, Crime/Traffic, Haridwar.
5. Niharika Tomar (IPS:2021:UK), Additional SP, Crime/Traffic, Udham Singh Nagar, has been promoted and posted as SP, Crime/Traffic, Udham Singh Nagar
