UP: 46 IAS officers transferred; Sanjay Prasad returns as PS, Home

In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government issued transfer orders for 46 IAS officers late Thursday night, including several high-ranking officials across various departments. A significant highlight of this reshuffle is the return of Sanjay Prasad (IAS:1995:UP) to the position of Principal Secretary, Home, where he will oversee several critical portfolios, including Home, Visa, Passport, and Vigilance. Prasad already holds the charge of Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, as well as Protocol and Information & Public Relations Department.
