IPS officer Ashish Kumar Singh appointed IG in ITBP

IPS officer Ashish Kumar Singh (IPS:2004:OD) has been appointed as Inspector General (IG) in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) for five years. According to an order issued December 6 by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), the competent authority has approved appointment of Mr. Singh to the post for a tenure of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
