Tamil Nadu: 30 IAS officers shifted

A few hours after transferring 15 IAS officers, the Tamil Nadu government issued another transfer order, reassigning 26 IAS officers and placing 4 IAS officers at the disposal of various corporations, boards, and departments for further appointments.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Ashish Kumar (IAS:2005:TN), on his return to state cadre, has been posted as Additional Resident Commissioner, Tamil Nadu House, New Delhi.
2. Shunchonngam Jatak Chiru (IAS:1999:TN), Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare and MD, Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation Ltd, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary/Commissioner of Transport.
3. A Shanmuga Sundram (IAS:1997:TN), Commissioner of Transport, has been transferred and posted as Director, Handlooms.
4. R Gajalakshmi (IAS:2009:TN), MD, Tamil Nadu Textbook and Educational Services Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Director, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare and Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Fisheries Development Corporation Limited.
5. SP Karthikaa (IAS:2019:TN), Additional Director, Social Welfare, has been transferred and posted as Director, Prohibition and Excise.
6. D Mohan (IAS:2012:TN), Special Officer, Mudhalvarin Mugavari, has been transferred and posted as Director of Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.
7. J Jayakantha (IAS:2005:TN), Commissioner, Prohibition and Excise, has been transferred as Commissioner of Textiles.
8. Thakare Shubham Dnyandeorao (IAS:2019:TN), Commissioner, Corporation of Tirunelveli, has been transferred and posted as Joint Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Erode.
9. R Seethalakshmi (IAS:2011:TN), Additional Secretary, Social Welfare and Women Empowerment Department, has been transferred and posted as Project Director/Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu AIDS Control Society.
10. S Amirtha Jothi (IAS:2011:TN), Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services, has been transferred and posted as Director, Entrepreneurship Development and Innovation Institute.
11. Megeswari Ravikumar (IAS:2011:TN), Additional Secretary, Municipal Administration and Water Supply Department, has been transferred and posted as Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Services.
12. T Abraham (IAS:2003:TN), formerly Secretary, Social Reforms Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner, Technical Education.
13. IS Mercy Ramya (IAS:2015:TN), Collector, Pudukkottai District, has been transferred as Director, Integrated Child Development Schemes.
14. PN Sridhar (IAS:2012:TN), Collector, Kanniyakumari District is transferred and posted as Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments.
15. K V Muralidharan (IAS:2011:TN), Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, has been transferred and posted as Director, Social Security Scheme.
16. Dr. R Anandkumar (IAS:2005:TN), MD, Tamil Nadu Handloom Weavers’ Co-operative Society (Co-optex), has been transferred and posted as Commissioner of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj (Training).
17. Dr. A Arun Thambu Raj (IAS:2013:TN), Collector, Cuddalore District, is transferred and posted as Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health System Project.
18. M Govinda Rao (IAS:2011:TN), Project Director, Tamil Nadu Health System Project, has been transferred and posted as Director of e-Governance and Chief Executive Officer, Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency.
19. Sharanya Ari (IAS:2016:TN), Deputy Commissioner (Education), Greater Chennai Corporation, is transferred and posted as Additional Director of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj.
20. Johny Tom Varghese (IAS:2014:TN), Collector, Nagapattinam District, has been transferred and posted as Director, Child Welfare and Social Services.
21. B Gayathri Krishnan (IAS:2013:TN), CEO, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority, has been transferred and posted as Additional Registrar of Co-operative Societies.
22. A Sankar (IAS), Additional Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments, has been transferred and posted as Director of Land Reforms. He shall also function as Director of Urban Land Ceiling and Urban Land Tax.
23. Siva Soundaravalli (IAS), Joint Director, Art and Culture, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Industries and Commerce.
24. V Mohanachandran (IAS), District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai, has been transferred and posted as Director of Disaster Management.
25. Dr. R Sukumar (IAS), Director, Social Media, O/o the Director of Information and Broadcasting, has been transferred and posted as Additional Commissioner of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments.
26. K Porkodi (IAS), Deputy Commissioner, Kalaignar Magalir Urimal Thogai Thittam, has been transferred and posted as Joint Managing Director, Tamil Nadu Cooperative Milk Producers Federation Ltd. Chennai.
27. A Karthik (IAS:1996:TN), former Principal Secretary, Higher Education, is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation Limited for appointment as its Principal Secretary/CMD.
28. Dr. P Shankar (IAS:2006:TN), Special Secretary, Agriculture-Farmers Welfare Department has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Text Book and Educational Services Corporation for appointment as
    it Managing Director.
29. Dr. B Maheswari (IAS:2005:TN), Special Secretary, MSME Department has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board for appointment as its Chief Executive Officer.
30. SA Raman (IAS:2010:TN), Director of Disaster Management has been transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Tamil Nadu Road Sector Project-II for appointment as its Project Director.
