The central deputation tenure of Ajay Kumar (IAS:2006:GJ) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Defence has been extended for two years. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (15.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Defence to extend the deputation tenure of Ajay Kumar for two years beyond 14.07.2024 or until further orders.
