Sunil Kumar Meena (IPS:2007:UK), currently serving as DIG at the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), has been laterally shifted and posted as DIG at the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (10.01.2023), his combined tenure will be five years from the date of joining the post or until further orders.
In his place, Patil Ketan Baliram (IPS:2010:PB), currently serving as SP at NHRC, has been promoted to the position of DIG at NHRC. He will replace Sunil Kumar Meena (IPS:2007:UK) and has been appointed to the post for a combined tenure of five years (SP+DIG) from the date of joining the post or until further orders.
