New Delhi: Indian Forest Service (IFoS) officer Satovisha Samajdar (IFoS:2010:CG) has been appointed as Director in the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Delhi, under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (July 22, 2026), the competent authority has approved her appointment to the post for a period of five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
