Abhishek Pathak (IPS:2004:CG), Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), has been appointed as Inspector General (IG), Border Security Force (BSF). According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on June 15, 2023, the competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Pathak to the post from the date of joining.
