The Punjab government on Monday (11.04.2022) promoted three IPS officers of 2008 batch to DIG rank.
They are ;
- Nilambari Vijay Jagdale
- Rahul S
- Bikram Pal Singh Bhatty
At present, Jagdale is serving as Assistant Inspector General of Police, State Cybercrime Cell and Rahul as AIG, Counter Intelligence. As Bhatty is on central deputation, he would be entitled only to the notional benefits and the actual benefits would be admissible to him as and when he joins his duty in the state police.
