J&K IPS officer Amit Kumar appointed as DIG NIA

Amit Kumar (IPS:2006:JK) has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General (DIG), National Investigations Agency (NIA) on deputation basis for a period five years. An order issued by Ministry of Home Affairs said that competent authority approved the appointment of Amit Kumar to the post of DIG, NIA on deputation basis for an initial period of five years from date of joining the post or until further orders, whichever takes place earlier.

Presently, Amit Kumar was posted as DIG central Kashmir range.
