Assam : Govt relives three IAS officers of their additional charges

The Assam government on Wednesday (19.05.2021) effected a minor reshuffle in state bureaucracy by relieving three IAS officers of their additional charges.

They are ;

1. B Kalyan Chakravarthy (IAS:1995:AM), Principal Secretary, Secondary Education Departments and MD, Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission, Assam and MD, RMSA is relieved from the additional charge of MD, Sarba Siksha Abhiyan Mission, Assam.
2. Syedain Abbasi (IAS:1990:AM), Additional Chief Secretary, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Departments is relieved from the additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department.
3. Manish Thakur (IAS:1998:AM), Commissioner & Secretary, Urban Development, Guwahati Development, Finance, Science & Technology and Information Technology Departments is substantively posted as Commissioner & Secretary, Finance Department. He has been relieved from the additional charge of Commissioner & Secretary, Urban Development, Guwahati Development, Science & Technology and Information Technology Departments.
