Punjab : 14 IPS officers transferred

The Punjab government on Wednesday issued transfer and posting orders of fourteen IPS officers in the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows :

1. Gurpreet Kaur Deo (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, CAD Punjab with additional charge of Women & Child Affairs and ADGP, IVC.
2. Jitendra Kumar Jain (IPS:1993:PB) : ADGP, PBI-II with addl. charge of ADGP Policy & Rules and SOG Training, Patiala.
3. B. Chandra Sekhar (IPS:1994:PB) : ADGP, Crime-I with addl. charge of STF.
4. M.F. Farooqui (IPS:1995:PB) : IGP, PAP, Jalandhar with additional charge as IGP Disaster Management, Punjab and IGP, Anti Riot Police (ARP).
5. Naunihal Singh (IPS:1997:PB) : IGP, Ludhiana Range, Ludhiana.
6. Jaskaran Singh (IPS:1998:PB) : IGP, Bhatinda Range, Bhatinda.
7. A.K. Mittal (IPS:2000:PB) : IGP, Headquarters, Punjab.
8. Dr. Kaustabh Sharma (IPS:2001:PB) : IGP, Faridkot Range, Faridkot.
9. Gursharan Singh Sandhu (IPS:2002:PB) : IGP, Provisioning.
10. Pardeep Kumar Yadav (IPS:2002:PB) : IGP, Technical Services.
11. Surinder Kumar Kalia (IPS:2003:PB) : IGP, PAP-II, Jalandhar.
12. Ranbir Singh Khatra (IPS:2004:PB) : DIG, Jalandhar Range, Jalandhar.
13. Sukhminder Singh Mann (IPS:2008:PB) : Commandant, 9th Battalion PAP, Amritsar.
14. Patil Ketan Baliram (IPS:2010:PB) : AIG, Counter Intelligence, Amritsar with additional charge of AIG, SSOC, Amritsar.
