Tripura: 14 IPS officers among 32 police officers shifted

The Tripura government on Monday (10.03.2025) issued transfer and posting orders for 14 IPS and 18 TPS officers across the state.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. M Raja Murugan (IPS:1996:TR), ADGP Training, has been given additional charge of IGP, Administration.
2. Avula Ramesh Reddy (IPS:2007:TR), DIGP, Hqrs, has been transferred and posted as IGP, Crime.
3. Ipper Manchak Dnyanoba (IPS:2008:TR), DIGP, SR & NR, has been made In-charge IGP, Law & Order with additional charge of DIGP, Southern Range.
4. Krishnendu Chakravertty (IPS:2010:TR), DIGP, Crime, Intelligence & Security with additional charge of SP, SB & SP, Vigilance, has been relieved of the charge of SP, Vigilance.
5. Prabir Majumdar (IPS:2011:TR), DIGP (now posted as AIGP, Welfare), has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Hqrs.
6. Rati Ranjan Debnath (IPS:2011:TR) (now posted as SP, Anti Narcotics), has been transferred and posted as DIGP, Northern Range.
7. Bijoy Debbarma (IPS:2013:TR), SP, Procurement, has been transferred and posted as SP, Sepahijala.
8. Manik Das (IPS:2014:TR), SP, Traffic, has been transferred and posted as SP, Procurement.
9. Bhanupada Chakraborty (IPS:2014:TR), SP, PHQ, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, TSR 1st Battalion.
10. Jayanta Chakraborty (IPS:2015:TR), AIGP, Hqrs, has been transferred and posted as Principal, KTDS PTA.
11. Bogati Jagadeeswar Reddy (IPS:2017:TR), SP, Sepahijala, has been transferred and posted as AIGP, Hqrs.
12. Apan Jamatia (IPS), SP-AP, O/o the DIGP, AP, has been transferred and posted as Commandant, AP, O/o the DIGP-AP
13. Sudhambika R (IPS:2019:TR), Additional SP, Traffic, has been posted as SP, Traffic.
14. Mouryakrishna Chandrasekhar (IPS:2020:TR), Additional SP, South, has been made SP, South.
