The central deputation tenure of Siddharth Mahajan (IAS:2003:RJ) as Joint Secretary in the Department of Commerce has been extended. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday (30.10.2024), the competent authority has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Mahajan for a combined tenure of seven years upto 07.11.2028 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
