Jharkhand: 25 IAS officers shifted, Vipra Bhal posted as PS, Governor

The Jharkhand government on Saturday (10.08.2024) enacted significant bureaucratic reshuffle in the state by reassigning 25 IAS officers to new positions and responsibilities.

The names of the officers and their postings are as follows;

1. Nitin Madan Kulkarni (IAS:1995:JH), Principal Secretary to Governor, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, Ranchi.
2. Mast Ram Meena (IAS:1996:JH), Principal Secretary, Planning & Development Department, Ranchi with additional charge of In-charge Member, Revenue Board, Jharkhand, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Drinking Water & Sanitation Department, Ranchi.
3. Sunil Kumar (IAS:1999:JH), Principal Secretary, Road Construction Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department with additional charge of MD, JUIDCO and MD, GRDA, Ranchi.
4. Dr. Amitabh Kaushal (IAS:2001:JH), Secretary, Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs with additional charge of Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Information Technology and e-governance with additional charge of Secretary, Commercial Tax Department, Ranchi.
5. Manish Ranjan (IAS:2002:JH), Secretary, Building Construction Department with additional charge of MD, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Director, Shri Krishna Institute of Public Administration, Ranchi.
6. Rajesh Kumar Sharma (IAS:2003:JH), Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Disaster Management Department, Ranchi.
7. Abu Bakar Siddique (IAS:2003:JH), Secretary, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, Ranchi.
8. Vipra Bhal (IAS:2006:JH), Secretary, Information Technology and e-governance with additional charges of Secretary, Commercial Tax Department and CEO, Jharkhand Communication Network Limited, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary, Governor.
9. Manoj Kumar (IAS:2007:JH), Secretary, Women, Child Development & Social Security Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Excise and Prohibition, Ranchi.
10. Arava Rajkamal (IAS:2008:JH), Secretary to Chief Minister with additional charges of Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi and Secretary, Urban Development & Housing Department, Ranchi, MD, JUIDCO, Ranchi, and MD, GRDA, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Secretary, Building Construction Department, Ranchi with additional charges of MD, Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited, Ranchi and Resident Commissioner, Jharkhand Bhawan, New Delhi.
11. Jitendra Kumar Singh (IAS:2008:JH), Secretary, Mining & Geology Department, Ranchi with additional charge of Chairman, Jharkhand State Minerals Development Corporation Limited, Ranchi, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Industries, Ranchi.
12. Uma Shankar Singh (IAS:2009:JH), In-charge Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, Ranchi, with additional charge of In-charge CEO, Sidho Kanho Agriculture and Forest Produce State Co-Operative Federation Limited, Ranchi, has been given additional charge of Secretary, Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Department, Ranchi.
13. Amit Kumar (IAS:2010:JH), Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation with additional charge of Vice Chairman, Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA), has been transferred and posted as Commercial Tax Commissioner, Ranchi, with additional charge of Special Secretary, Finance Department, Ranchi.
14. Manjunath Bhajantri (IAS:2011:JH), Administrator, Subarnarekha Project, Jamshedpur, has been transferred and posted as CEO, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), Ranchi with additional charge of MGNREGA Commissioner, Ranchi.
15. Amit Prakash (IAS:2011:JH), Special Secretary, Labour, Employment, Training & Skill Development, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Excise Commissioner, Ranchi with additional charge of Jharkhand State Beverages Corporation Limited, Ranchi.
16. Sandeep Singh (IAS:2013:JH), CEO, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), Ranchi with additional charge of Additional Chief Election Officer, Election Department, Ranchi, has been transferred and posted as Municipal Commissioner, Ranchi Municipal Corporation, Ranchi with additional charge of Chairman, Ranchi Regional Development Authority (RRDA).
17. Shailendra Kumar Lal (IAS:2013:JH), Municipal Commissioner, Hazaribagh Municipal Corporation, has been transferred and posted as Mission Director-cum-CEO, Jharkhand Skill Development Mission Society, Ranchi.
