IPS officer Manish Singh (IPS:2013:GJ) has been appointed as Superintendent of Police in the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR&D) under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) on Monday (November 3, 2025), the competent authority has approved Singh’s appointment to the post on deputation basis.
Currently, Singh is serving in the Gujarat cadre as Commandant, SDRF, Group-16, Bhachau-Kutch. The MHA has requested the state government to relieve him immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment at the Centre.
