New Delhi: IAS officer Prashanth Kumar CH (IAS:2015:BH) has been appointed as Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bhupendra Yadav.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (July 23, 2026), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved his appointment to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post, or on a co-terminus basis with the Minister, or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
He will assume charge of the post at the Deputy Secretary level in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
