New Delhi: IAS officer Vivek Bhatia (IAS:2011:HP) has been appointed as Director in the Department of Youth Affairs under the Central Staffing Scheme for a period of five years.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday (July 23, 2026), the competent authority has approved his appointment for five years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Presently, Bhatia is serving as Principal Private Secretary-cum-Special Secretary to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh. He also holds the additional charge of Director, Tourism & Civil Aviation, and Director, Industries.
