The Haryana government has made a significant reshuffle in the departments of officers, advisors, and OSD posted in the Chief Minister’s Office. OSD Bhupeshwar Dayal is now without a department, he has no responsibility left. The charge of Grievances CM Window has been taken back from him and handed over to Devendra Singh (Retd:IAS:1987:HY), Advisor to the Chief Minister.

Devendra also has responsibility of the irrigation department. Yogendra Chaudhary (IRS:1989), Resource Mobilization Advisor in the Chief Minister’s Office, will no longer look after the work of the Department of Art and Culture. This has now been given to Amit Agarwal (IAS:2003:HY), Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister. V. Umashankar (IAS:1993:HY), Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now take over the charge of the Information and Public Relations Department. The post was vacated by former principal OSD Neeraj Daftuar’s resignation.
After the fresh reshuffle, on Monday, DS Dhesi (Retd.IAS:1982:HY), the Chief Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, will now be in charge of 12 departments as before, besides the general CMO responsibilities, and the departments not allocated to anyone, including the establishment. V Umashankar earlier had 11 portfolios in the Chief Minister’s Office, which has now increased to 12. Yogendra Chaudhary is now left with only three departments.
In addition to irrigation, Devendra Singh will be responsible for the Grievances CM Window. Previously, Amit Agarwal had 13 departments, but now he has 14. KM Pandurang (IAS:2007:HY) will continue to oversee 14 departments. The six departments allocated to Sudhanshu Gautam on September 9 have been retained.
