Darla Sunil Kumar, General Manager, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), has been appointed to the post of Director (Finance) in South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL). According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday (22.07.2024), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of Ministry of Coal to appoint Darla Sunil Kumar to the post for a period five years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Notably, on April 26, the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) recommended Darla Sunil Kumar’s name to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet for approval after interviewing 12 candidates.
