B Kasiviswanathan (IRSME:1992), currently serving as Chairperson of the Cochin Port Authority, has been prematurely repatriated to his parent cadre.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Friday (May 29, 2026), the competent authority has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for his repatriation to enable him to avail the benefit of promotion in his parent cadre.
Kasiviswanathan has been serving as Chairperson of the Cochin Port Authority since September 2023. Notably, he is due to retire on July 31, 2026.
