The Chhattisgarh government on Tuesday (04.02.2025) appointed senior IPS officer Arun Dev Gautam (IPS:1992:CG) as acting Director General of Police (DGP) of the state. Currently, he is serving as DG, Civil Defence with additional charge of Director of Public Prosecution.
His appointment follows the completion of incumbent DGP Ashok Juneja’s (IPS:1989:CG) extended tenure, which ended on Monday (03.02.2025).
