CBI Joint Director Anurag gets extension

The deputation tenure of Anurag (IPS:1994:TR) as Joint Director in CBI has been extended for a period of six months. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Tuesday (10.05.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal for extension of the deputation tenure of Anurag for a period of six months beyond 24.01.2022 i.e. from 25.01.2022 to 24.07.2022 (6 years in total) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
