CBDT: Seven IRS-IT officers promoted to Chief Commissioner of Income Tax grade

Seven senior officers from the Indian Revenue Service (Income Tax) were on Wednesday (31.07.2024) promoted to the grade of Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (CCIT), which corresponds to level 16 in the pay matrix. This promotion, approved by the competent authority, is effective for the panel year 2024 on an in-situ basis.

They are;

1. Ashima Gupta
2. Vidisha Kalra
3. Prabhjot Kumar Bedi
4. Suresh Battini
5. Abha Kala Chanda
6. Sanjeev Singh
7. G Guruswamy

The officers shall continue to hold the charge of the post, which they were holding before promotion, till their formal posting is ordered.
