The post of Anil Kumar (IRS-IT:2008) as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Commerce has been re-designated as Director. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce to re-designate Gupta as Director with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 06.12.2026 i.e. total five year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.
